The Nude app uses artificial intelligence to protect your most sensitive photos so that no one sees them accidentally.
Nude app protects your nude photos
Taking and sending nude photos with a smartphone is nowadays the most normal thing in the world. What not everyone thinks about, however, is the safety behind this. Both what the recipient does with the photos, and whether someone accidentally sees the photos on your phone. The Nude app cleverly responds to this by automatically putting your sensitive photos under lock and key.
There are several apps that let you lock photos, but Nude stands out for its use of artificial intelligence. This means you don’t have to go through all your photos to choose the right images, but nude photos are automatically placed in a safe. This safe is opened with a PIN or Touch ID. You can also remove the photos from your Camera Roll with a button.

At the moment, the app is also picking out a lot of photos that are not sensitive at all, but the technology will undoubtedly keep getting better. The photos are not sent to Nude, because the scanning and moving only takes place locally on your iPhone. If someone then tries to crack the safe by guessing your pin code, the app with the selfie camera will take a photo if they make a mistake.
You can of course also use the safe for other photos. Press the plus button to add an image. Consider, for example, a scan of your ID. Still, the focus of the app is clearly nude photos. To use the app, you must sign up for a subscription. The first thirty days are free, then the service costs $ 1 per month or $ 10 per year.
