TikTok introduces a new way to create duets with Green Screen Duet. In this article we explain how to use this function.
Using TikTok Green Screen Duet
TikTok has added a new way to create a duet. Green Screen Duet combines two popular features of the app: the ability to create a duet and the ability to make your background disappear.
With this function it is therefore possible to set a video of another user as a background while you appear in front of it. Then the creator of the original video is neatly mentioned in the caption with a link to the original video.
To use Green Screen Duet, complete the following steps:
- Find a video that you want to make a Green Screen Duet with;
- Tap the share icon at the bottom right of the screen;
- Choose ‘Duet’;
- Tap ‘Layout’;
- Choose ‘Green screen’;
- Tap the image to return to the recording screen;
- Record your video.
Besides Green Screen Duet, there are three more ways to create a duet. If you choose ‘left & right’ at ‘layout’, the original video will be placed on the right of the screen and your reaction on the left. Tap ‘Switch’ to switch that. If you choose ‘react’, the original video will be placed in a corner. With ‘top & bottom’ the videos are placed one above the other.
