The week is over and that means that a fresh app overview is waiting for you! In our opinion, you should not miss these new apps, games and updates. You can find the best iOS apps from week 18 (2018) here.
The best iOS apps at a glance
The App Store works overtime every week to handle the never-ending stream of new apps and updates. However, you will hardly notice this, because only a small part of it is worth installing. If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch can use some new apps, you’ve come to the right place.
1. Fabulous
Living healthier, sleeping more and focusing better: everyone wants to change and improve their habits, but it’s easier said than done. The new app Fabulous helps you step by step in a smart way.
It is therefore not the tasks themselves that make Fabulous worth trying, but the way in which the app reminds you of them in clever ways. Add to this the motivational spoken motivation letters and you get an app that gives you a greater chance of actually achieving the goals you set.
2. OVIVO
In OVIVO you are a small ball and you roll around in a special black and white world. You move across the line between black and white, but you switch sides with a touch of the screen. Gravity changes with you, so you fall and roll through the world in a soothing way, looking for objects that you have to grab for the progress.
Once you have found the object in three levels, the screen zooms out and the world appears to consist of a beautiful work of art. Then you step into the next world to repeat this. Of course with more and more interesting challenges.
3.1Password
1Password is arguably the best-known passwords app on iOS. In this app you can enter, create and save passwords. By generating a password via 1Password with uppercase letters, lowercase letters, symbols and numbers of up to 30 characters, you can be sure that you are properly protected. In addition to passwords, you can also store other private information, such as credit card and passport details, or secret notes. The app itself requires a separate password to open. Be smart and write it down on a note that you keep well. 1Password can sync with iCloud and Dropbox.
The app used to be quite pricey, but now it’s free to download. You can upgrade to the pro version for 10.99 euros. With this you can choose from a wider range of categories and with which you can create tags and folders.
4. MasterClass
Continuing to learn throughout your life not only keeps you young, but it broadens your own horizons. The makers of MasterClass think so too: the app offers you an instructive, short video that teaches you something about a specific skill. The videos are shot with experts in their field, including Gordon Ramsey, Stephen Curry and Samuel L. Jackson.
The topics covered in the videos range from music and writing to sports and politics. In addition, you can watch a number of videos every day for free, but you have to pay extra if you want to watch all the videos of a specific teacher.
