The week is over and that means that a fresh app overview is waiting for you! As far as we are concerned, you should not miss these new apps, games and updates. You can find the best iOS apps from week 52 here.
The best iOS apps at a glance
The App Store works overtime every week to handle the never-ending stream of new apps and updates. However, you will hardly notice this, because only a small part is worth installing. If your iPhone or iPad can use some new apps, you’ve come to the right place.
1. AutoSleep
AutoSleep is a sleep tracker intended for Apple Watch owners. By using the smart watch as a tracker, your sleep but also your sleep quality is measured. By combining your sleep time, restlessness, heart rate and time that you are awake, you gain extensive insight into your night’s sleep. In the renewed app you can easily read all information about your night’s rest from activity rings.
These are pretty similar to the rings you know from Apple’s own Activity app. Your sleep time, restlessness, and other factors all have their own ring diagram. In addition, a new menu shows you whether you are building credit by sleeping more than is necessary for you, or if you have shortages due to less sleep sessions.
2.7 Billion Humans
Remember the Human Resource Machine, in which you have to use people to solve puzzles? The sequel to this game is now available on the App Store. In 7 Billion Humans you get a lot of new puzzles that you have to solve by programming people.
This means that you let the employees know what to do via a block language. New is that in this game you give assignments to a large number of people at the same time.
3. NPO Radio 2 – Top 2000
The Radio 2 app is currently all about the Top 2000. You can easily listen live and watch via webcam. However, via the menu you can go directly to the full list and you can see which song is being played at what time. Very useful if you really don’t want to miss your favorite song. In addition to the list, it is also possible to watch fragments of the Top 2000 A Gogo via the app.
Via ‘App’je’ at the top right of the screen you can send a message, photo or audio file to the NPO Radio 2 studio. Who knows, you might end up in the broadcast. The Radio 2 app also lets you add songs directly to one of your Spotify playlists.
4. Capsicum
Capsicum is the replacement for your separate calendar and to-do list apps. The program merges reminders, notes and to-do lists and has a unique interface. Moreover, it is a great way to learn new habits. This is so handy, with the new year just around the corner.
The program consists of three parts: an agenda in which you can create daily, weekly or monthly tasks, a way to learn new habits and a diary. You can decorate all parts to your own taste with other fonts, colors and more. Capsicum is free to use for 14 days, after which the app costs 1.99 euros per month.
