iPhone 13 dummies show few changes
Sonny Dickson, an insider in the telecom world, has posted photos of iPhone 13 dummies online. For example, dummy models are used by phone case makers to start production of new accessories on time. For example, you can already order covers for the iPhone 13 on several websites, while the device itself has not even been presented yet.
Dickson’s dummy models show few changes from the iPhone 12. It seems that the 2021 iPhones will have about the same design. So get ready for an angular design with upright edges and a screen that lies ‘flat’ on the housing.
The dummies do show that the iPhone 13 devices get somewhat thicker housings than their predecessors. The ‘camera islands’ on the backs are also getting bigger. Perhaps this is due to the addition of sensor shift.
Rumor has it that Apple will bring this feature, which is now only on the iPhone 12 Pro Max, to all iPhone 13s. Sensor-shift keeps the sensor more stable during shooting by making it float. You will get less jerky photos and videos as a result.
In addition, the rear cameras on the iPhone 13 and 13 mini are now placed diagonally, instead of vertically as on the iPhone 12 (mini). With the 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max, little seems to change, other than the larger camera islands.
Prepare for the new iPhone
The net around the new iPhones is starting to close. With a few months to go until the official presentation, we already know a lot about the new devices. Recently, for example, the expected release date of the iPhone 13 came out.
According to analyst Dan Ives, the devices will be presented on September 14, after which they will be pre-ordered on September 17. They would then be in stores a week later, on September 24. We expect four devices again this year: iPhone 13, iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max.
