Last week’s 4 best iOS apps

The App Store is working overtime every week. New apps, updates for existing programs and games are added all the time. You probably don’t notice this much, because most of it is not worth downloading. iPhoned therefore separate the wheat from the chaff every Sunday. Here are this week’s best iOS apps, updates, and games.

1. Lockne

Have you ever taken a photo that just doesn’t quite fit as a background? That is a thing of the past with the Lockne app. Lockne provides a perfect access screen or home screen.

The camera app lets you take a photo while it immediately shows what it will look like as the background of your home screen or lock screen. In this way you can, for example, make a composition so that the time is clearly visible.

2. Autozine

Are you a real car fan? Then Autozine is for you. The app keeps you up to date with the latest car news. In the app you will also find prices, specifications and photos of all cars made in the period from 1999 to the present.

When you have finished reading, you can also play a game to test your car knowledge. For example, can you recognize a car by one detail? Or do you know the strangest models? The app is free, but if you take out a subscription, the app is ad-free and you get a number of extras, such as data on historic cars.

3. The Innsmouth Case

Especially for lovers of detective stories and puzzles: The Innsmouth Case. You play as a detective. You’ve been hired to uncover the truth behind a local girl’s disappearance.

You soon realize there’s more to it than that and set out to investigate, encountering evil forces and other horror-like images. It’s up to you to find out which of the 20 characters has something to do with the mysterious disappearance.

4. Pokemon Café Mix

In this puzzle game you link the heads of different Pokémons together. When you mix them well, you create different drinks and meals. You can then serve these to your Pokémon customers.

If you do it right, your cafe will get bigger and bigger. You also get better tools and new meals on the menu. Of course you need more staff for that: if you become good friends with the different Pokémon, they will gladly come and work in your cafe.
