The 4 best iOS apps of week 29 – 2020

The new week is just around the corner, but before that, let’s take a look back at the last seven days. The editors of iPhoned has rounded up the best iOS apps, games and updates from last week.

Last week’s 4 best iOS apps

The App Store is working overtime every week. New apps, updates for existing programs and games are added all the time. You probably don’t notice this much, because most of it is not worth downloading. iPhoned therefore separate the wheat from the chaff every Sunday. Here are this week’s best iOS apps, updates, and games.

1. Crying Suns

Crying Suns came out for PC last year and launched this week as an iOS app. A major conflict causes a galactic universe to fall apart. Each section then focuses on a different sin.

Each chapter you play in a different part of the universe. Here you go into battle to get the different parts back together. In the meantime, you will of course earn upgrades to your skills and weapons, making you stronger and stronger. The combination of a good story and exciting combat makes Crying Suns definitely worth a try.

2. Game Funnel

Do you know the phenomenon of a game box with several games in one? Game Funnel is the digital form of that. The app offers 25 different games, most of which are true classics. The nice thing about Game Funnel is that you can also compete against other players.

The more opponents, the more games you can play in a row. You can choose from five different categories of five games, matching you with opponents who like to play the same games. After each move, you can move on to the other game, so you never have to wait long for your opponent’s move.

3. Felix the Reaper

The somewhat eccentric puzzle game Felix the Reaper was already available on PC and consoles, but has now also been released for iOS. In this game, Felix walks (or dances) on a platform, heading for people he can kill. He does this to get the attention of his lover, who likes to see it.

The platform consists of a grid of dark and light tiles. Felix can only walk on the dark tiles. By solving puzzles you can create more shadows so that Felix finds a way to get in somewhere.

4. Railway Canyon

If you’re looking for a relaxing puzzle game, Railway Canyon is for you. In this game you help a train to continue its way by connecting the separate pieces of track. The train must escape from a group of bandits who want to steal the train.

It’s up to you to fix the broken track before the train continues its journey. That may sound hectic, but it’s anything but. There is no time pressure and there is also no violence. By turning the pieces of track on the ground in the right direction, you make the track complete again.
