The new week is just around the corner, but before that, let’s take a look back at the last seven days. The editors of iPhoned has rounded up the best iOS apps, games and updates from last week.
Last week’s best iOS apps
The Apple App Store is working overtime every week. New apps, updates to existing applications and games appear all the time. You probably don’t notice this much, because most of the programs are not worth downloading. iPhoned therefore separate the wheat from the chaff every Sunday. Here are the best iOS apps, updates, and games from last week.
1. Smart Tasks
The Smart Tasks app has had a major update with the arrival of iOS 14. The handy to do list app lets you plan a whole week in an easy way. The app is kept simple, but it actually offers everything you need from a to do list app. This makes it very intuitive.

For example, you can organize your tasks into categories, and see a summary of your week with all the tasks you have planned. From now on it is also possible to add the to do list as a widget to your home screen. That way you can see all your tasks at a glance. The app is free to download, but some features are behind a paywall.
2. Dear My Cat
Cats in a virtual paradise: that’s Dear My Cat. In the relaxing game you observe the anthropomorphic cats on their island called Sky Island. Every cat on the island has its own adventure.
While the cats are quietly fishing or taking a nap under a tree, you can build new facilities for the islanders. In addition, you can craft presents that the cats can give to each other, and expand the island surface. The artistic style and beautiful music ensure that you completely relax and imagine yourself on the cat island.
3. Summoner’s Era
In the Role Playing Game Summoners Era, you put together a team to fight with. You choose a team from 150 heroes, which are divided into six categories. Each character has four specific skills. It is up to you to combine a good team.
The game is regularly updated. For example, there was recently an autumn update with new activities. In addition, it is possible to test your skills online against opponents from all over the world.
4. HoloVista
This dreamy puzzle game is set in a colorful yet mysterious villa. As architect Carmen, you investigate the gigantic house, initially with the aim of taking pictures of the many rooms in the villa.
But the longer you dwell in it, the weirder it gets. You explore the rooms by rotating your iPhone camera, and Carmen moves with you. Messages and QR codes will help you learn more about the house, ultimately helping you unravel the mysteries you discover.
