There is a new generation of lamps that have a higher brightness. There are also new lamps with color transitions, more fixtures for the ceiling and in the bathroom and an extension of the filament series. This is the new Hue offering.
New gradient lights
At the annual IFA tech event, Signify, the manufacturer of Philips Hue lamps, has a lot to announce. First of all, in addition to last year’s Gradient Lightstrip, there will be more lamps that can display an entire color transition. The Philips Hue Play gradient light tube features gradient technology that mixes multiple colors of light in one lamp or fixture and is specially designed to be placed above or below a TV.
Signify will also introduce the gradient effect in places other than around your TV. There are now the Philips Hue gradient Signe floor and table lamps, available in black or white, and the Philips Hue ambiance gradient light strip. That is an improved version of the regular Philips Hue light strip, but it also has the ability to mix colorful light.
Filament and extra bright bulbs
We have been familiar with the Filament series for two years now, which are smart lamps that resemble lamps with a filament. From now on, the Filament lamps are available in White ambiance, which means that you can switch between warm and cool white light to change the atmosphere in your home. There is also a new form of lamp in this range: the White Filament E14 candle lamp.
Signify also reveals that all known smart lamps are now available in extra powerful variants. The ‘White’, ‘White ambiance’ and ‘White and color ambiance’ portfolios are now also available in 1100 and 1600 lumen versions, so you can always choose the right brightness for every activity and every part of the house.
Ceiling and bathroom
In addition, there are new ceiling lights, starting with a panel that allows colored light and is intended for smaller rooms or low ceilings. The Philips Hue Surimu ceiling panel fits almost flush to the ceiling and is available in both rectangular and square designs. In addition, there is a lamp that can shine cool to warm light. Available in black and white, the Philips Hue Enrave ceiling lamp provides warm to cool white light for the living room, bedroom or kitchen. The Enrave is also available as a pendant lamp, which shines a powerful light down on a dining table or kitchen island.

For the bathroom there are new recessed spots with a chrome design: the Philips Hue Xamento recessed spots. In addition, the Philips Hue Devere ceiling lamp offers a combination of powerful warm to cool white light and indirect lighting effects.
