The makers of NLZIET have recently released an improved app.
This platform provides access to most of the TV offer in the Netherlands. On that basis you can say goodbye to your linear TV subscription.
In addition to a substantive renewal – the Amsterdam city channel AT5 and lifestyle channel Insight TV have been added to the range of channels – NLZiet’s focus is mainly on innovations in the user environment. A distinction is made between the ways in which you can view the content: live TV, watching previous broadcasts and looking forward to new episodes. If you like that, the app can suggest programs based on your viewing habits. Thanks to improved filter functions, you can now search faster within the different programs. In addition, you can quickly switch to live TV, your watch list and the history of past programs from the home screen.
At the time of writing, the service supports 36 Dutch broadcasters. It would be nice if the makers expanded the personalization even further, for example with the option to adjust the display of the TV guide to the channels you actually watch.
