AirPods 3
In addition to two new versions of the MacBook Pro, Apple also unveiled the AirPods 3. Apple’s new in-ears enjoy a new design. This design makes the in-ears sit even better in your ear, which improves the audio quality. Also benefiting the sound quality is Adaptive EQ, dynamic head tracking and the new speaker driver.
Apple promises that the new in-ears are completely water and sweat resistant (ipx4) and that the battery life has been improved. The new AirPods last for 6 hours and can be used for another hour after a five-minute charge. Thanks to the charging box, the earphones can be charged 4x, which brings the total listening time to 30 hours. The charging case now also supports wireless charging via MagSafe.
The 3rd generation AirPods are available as of today 199 euros to order. Delivery will start next week.
New colors for the HomePod mini
The AirPods aren’t the only new audio products that saw the light of day today. Apple also showed new versions of the previously released HomePod mini. In addition to the gray and white version, you can now also choose a yellow, orange or blue edition. These color variants of the HomePod mini will be released in November and will be priced the same as the previously released contemporaries.
