iPhone 13 Pro vs Pro Max: What are the differences between the two?

The iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max are the top devices from Apple’s current range. If you want the best of the best in the smartphone field, you can go for one of these two. But what exactly is the difference?

Where I listed the difference between the iPhone 13 and 13 mini last weekend, I now put the two top devices of the current line-up next to each other.

iPhone 13 Pro vs Pro Max: What’s the Big Difference?

I’ll start with a clincher: the iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max are different in size. The Pro Max has a large screen and is therefore physically more present than its smaller brother. The 13 Pro measures 146.7mm x 71.5mm x 7.7mm and weighs 204 grams. The Pro Max weighs 240 grams and measures 160.8mm x 78.1mm x 7.7mm. It should therefore be clear that the latter smartphone is mainly ideal for people whose phone cannot be large enough.

Although that is certainly not the only difference between the two devices. The iPhone 13 Pro has a smaller battery than the Pro Max and therefore lasts less long. Where the first smartphone has a 3095mAh battery, the second one does it with a 4352mAh battery. A significant difference that you as a consumer will certainly notice in practice.

The iPhone 13 Pro lasts an hour and a half longer than the 12 Pro, according to Apple. This year’s Pro Max lasts two and a half hours longer than its predecessor. This means for the first device that you can easily get a day and a half and for the second device that you can even reach two days. So if you don’t only need the largest screen, but also the most impressive battery: the iPhone 13 Pro Max has it all!
