iPhone 13 vs 13 mini: what’s the big difference?

Anyone who wants to buy a new iPhone will probably come to the iPhone 13 series from now on. A series that saw the light of day in September this year and consists of four different devices. The choice is huge, but which model suits you best?

Each model has its own advantages, its own disadvantages and its own price tag. The same goes for the iPhone 13 and the 13 mini. But what exactly is the big difference between the two devices? I’ll explain!

iPhone 13 vs 13 mini: what’s the difference?

At first glance, the iPhone 13 and 13 mini only seem to differ from each other in terms of size. To be honest, that’s the biggest difference. The iPhone 13 measures 146.7mm x 71.5mm x 7.7mm and weighs 174 grams. The iPhone 13 mini weighs 141 grams and measures 131.5mm x 64.2mm x 7.7mm. It immediately becomes clear that the mini is ideal for people who find all those big phones annoying. But is that really the only thing?

Unfortunately, that’s not all. It’s true that the mini is just as fast, has the same display and comes with the same camera system as its bigger brother. Unfortunately, it is also true that the smartphone is equipped with a smaller battery. Where the iPhone 13 is equipped with a 3240 mAh battery, the mini has to make do with a 2438 mAh battery. Now the size of the battery at Apple doesn’t say much when you compare them with other brands, but mutually it speaks volumes.

Both models have been upgraded from last year’s model. Where this means that the difference with the iPhone 13 mini and the regular model has remained the same, the individual results have improved. For example, the mini lasts an hour and a half longer than the 12 mini and thus manages to reach the end of the day. You may have to put in a little more effort than with other models, but it’s achievable!

Other than these two differences, iPhone 13 and 13 mini are identical.
