Playing Rummikub on the tablet or smartphone

Rummikub needs no further introduction; the game is wildly popular. You can now also play it on the iPad/iPhone or an Android device. Download the free app from the links below.

When you open the app, a game will start automatically. Do you want to start a new game?

• If you don’t see a menu at the bottom of the screen, tap the arrow at the bottom right.
• Tap the star at the bottom left.
• Tap at the bottom right Play.

In a new game you will see the tiles at the bottom of the screen. By dragging your finger back and forth across the row of stones, you will see all your stones. Drag the stones you want to use to the green area. You may not start laying down until you can lose thirty points. If you can’t (anymore), tap the row of white stones. You get a new stone in your overview if you have not placed anything on the game board. It is the turn of the fictitious opponent. The first player to clear his or her tiles wins the game.

Do you want to read the rules of the game?

• If you don’t see a menu at the bottom of the screen, tap the arrow at the bottom right.
• Tap the question mark.
• Tap on Game rules.
• To go back to the game, tap at the top left Back.

In the settings you can adjust the language, sound and playing level, among other things.

• If you don’t see a menu at the bottom of the screen, tap the arrow at the bottom right.
• Tap the gear image.
• If you want to adjust the playing level, tap the button behind ‘Playing level’ and check for example Average at.
• The setting has been adjusted immediately. Tap at the top left Back to go back to the game.
