Alphabetically Apps
Every new app that you install on a Samsung tablet or smartphone appears last in the overview of all apps. Sort the apps alphabetically for a better overview. In this tip, we assume a tablet or smartphone with Android 7.0, 8.0 or 9.0.
Sorting alphabetically is as follows:
- Open the overview of all apps by tapping on the Home screen apps or by swiping the screen from bottom to top (Android 8.0 and above).
- The overview of all apps opens. Tap the three dots icon at the top right.
- Tap on To sort.
- Tap on Alphabetical order.
