For many companies, customer friendliness, quality of products and execution of services are of paramount importance. Research must then show how well a company scores and Strato was named the best hosting provider in the annual survey by entrepreneur platform MT/Sprout.

Since its inception in 1997, Strato has grown into one of the largest hosting providers in the world, managing over 4 million domain names for more than 2 million customers. In the full list of the top 1,000 best business services companies, Strato came in second. For the third time in a row, the web hosting company took first place in the top 1000 business service providers in the Netherlands in the hosting category. In addition, STRATO achieved the highest net promoter score (NPS) of all other hosting providers. The NPS is a measure of customer satisfaction and shows whether users recommend the service provider or not. In the list of 1000 companies, STRATO ends up at number 2.

STRATO attaches great importance to customer feedback and achieves this through its own customer service and internal research, among other things. This feedback plays a vital role in the development of new products and other improvements. Among these new products and changes are the ServerCloud server service and the object storage HiDrive S3. In addition, STRATO has been completely climate neutral since October 2021.

MT1000
The MT1000 provides insight into how business service providers in 59 industries score compared to their competitors. The list is based on the answers of more than 4000 business decision makers. This year marks the fifth time this list has been compiled. By means of the MT1000, research is done into customer friendliness, the quality of products and the implementation of services. In addition, the NPS is calculated. This data in combination with the number of positive ratings per company determines the ranking. This research is being conducted by the Amsterdam Center for Business Innovation of the University of Amsterdam.
