Samsung launches the Galaxy S21 Fan Edition (FE) 5G that includes many of the favorite S21 features, including a beautiful and slim design, professional camera, powerful battery and good performance.
The Samsung Galaxy S series is widely known and one of the best-selling series of smartphones in the world. We have now arrived at the S21, which was launched in 2020. And just as with its well-known predecessor, the S20 series, Samsung is now also releasing an FE model, a Fan Edition. The focus here is on performance and the screen, because Samsung users find that the most important thing about their smartphone. According to Gerben van Walt Meijer, Marketing Manager Mobile at Samsung Netherlands: “The smartphone is equipped with functions that have made Galaxy fans happy for years. The S21 FE not only lives up to 100% expectations, it exceeds them in many ways.”

Design and colors
The S21 FE has a slim and stylish design and, thanks to its dimensions of 74.5 x 155.7 x 7.9 mm, it is also handy; it weighs only 177 grams. The eye-catching Contour-Cut frame integrates nicely with the camera body for a premium look. The smartphone comes in Green, Lavender, White and Graphite and all colors are finished with a matte finish.
Processor, memory, screen and battery life
The fast 64-bit octa-core processor, together with sufficient working memory, ensures powerful performance. The S21 FE comes in two versions: 8GB RAM with 256GB of storage memory and a version with 6GB RAM with 128GB of internal storage.
The FHD+ screen is 6.4 inches and with a refresh rate of 120 Hz you can scroll through everything smoothly. You can watch your favorite programs or sports games on a high-resolution Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen, and thanks to the 240Hz Touch Sampling Rate in Game Mode, you have very sharp graphics.
Long battery life is also very important for many people. The S21 FE is equipped with a 4500mAh battery that lasts all day and there is an optional 25 Watt Super Fast Charger that allows you to half-charge your smartphone within half an hour.
Cameras
The Galaxy S21 series has excellent cameras and the S21 FE is no exception. Samsung has also made a number of improvements: for example, with the improved Night Mode you can make clear images in the dark. And with the 32MP front camera, you can take great selfies that you make even better with the improved AI Face Restoration. Furthermore, with Dual Recording you can record what is happening in front of and behind you: you start the recording and the camera shoots images with both cameras at the same time.
Price and availability
From January 11, the Galaxy S21 FE 5G will be available for € 749 (128 GB) and € 819 (256 GB). Pre-orders for the Galaxy S21 FE 5G can be placed from January 4. The 25W Super Fast Charger is available separately.
