Smartwatches are becoming increasingly popular and that is partly why Xiaomi comes with the new Watch S1 series. This consists of the Watch S1 with a classic design and stainless steel frame intended for the professional and the Watch S1 Active, which is mainly intended for the sports enthusiasts among us.

After Xiaomi already announced the new Xiaomi 12 series this week with the Xiaomi 12 Pro, the Xiaomi 12 and the Xiaomi 12X, the Chinese company will soon also release the new Xiaomi Watch S1 series. Xiaomi sees that these smartwatches are increasingly seen by consumers as everyday necessities for various use cases, such as health and wellness, convenience and connection or even personal style.

Xiaomi Watch S1 Series
Built for life on the go, the Xiaomi Watch S1 series supports calls via bluetooth, payments with Mastercard NFC, and Amazon’s voice assistant Alexa. With normal use and a fully charged battery, the watch lasts up to 12 days, in battery saver mode up to 24 days. The smartwatch is easy to recharge with the magnetic charging options.
The Xiaomi Watch S1 and S1 Active automatically switch to the appropriate modes when it detects walking and running. This is thanks to a total of 117 fitness modes, including 19 professional modes for users to choose from. Both smartwatches are compatible with the Strava and Apple Health apps and provide comprehensive health tracking, including oxygen saturation, health monitoring and improved sleep monitoring.

Xiaomi Watch S1
The Xiaomi Watch S1 is made for the modern professional with a busy schedule and refined taste, according to Xiaomi. It has a classic and streamlined design and a stainless steel frame that houses the 1.43-inch AMOLED display, which is protected by sapphire glass. There are several options for the strap, including classic leather or fluorine rubber in different colors.

Xiaomi Watch S1 Active
The Xiaomi Watch S1 Active, on the other hand, offers colorful and adaptable sports styles with maximum comfort. The 1.43-inch AMOLED screen is surrounded by a durable lightweight metal bezel. The watch frame comes in three colors and the strap is available in six colored options.

Price and availability
From April 1, Xiaomi Watch S1 will be available for a suggested retail price of 269 euros, the Xiaomi Watch S1 Active for 199 euros.
