Huawei MateBook 16 available

When you think of products from Huawei, many will first think of their smartphones from the P series. However, Huawei has been focusing on other products from its portfolio for some time now, such as notebooks, smartwatches and the Sound Joy smart speaker. Design and housing
The Huawei MateBook 16 has a housing made of high-quality metal, is robust and has a beautiful appearance. The notebook comes in a Space Gray color which is finished with an advanced ceramic sandblasting process that gives the notebook a rough surface. Navigating the notebook is easy via the touchpad, with a large glass surface for smooth movement. The hinge is also designed for easy and quick access, allowing users to open the laptop with ease. The housing of the Huawei MateBook 16 is 17.8 mm thick and weighs just under 2 kilos: 1.99 kg.

Processor, performance and battery
The Huawei MateBook 16 is equipped with a 7nm AMD Ryzen 5000 Series mobile processor that functions on standard voltage. The all-new Huawei Shark fin fan cooling system consists of two pro-grade 75mm+ fans, with hinged air intake design and dual heat pipes, to ensure maximum performance while keeping noise levels low. Users can also flexibly switch between performance mode, which brings the processor TDP to 54 watts to use the notebook at maximum power, and balance mode for relatively more efficient battery consumption.
Although the Huawei MateBook 16 is lightweight, it features an 84Wh battery (1) that lasts all day. The notebook also comes with a versatile 135W adapter for users to quickly charge not only their notebook but also Huawei smartphones that support Huawei SuperCharge.

Display
The 16-inch FullView Display supports up to 2.5K resolution with a 90 percent screen-to-body ratio. The 3:2 aspect ratio is also more suitable for those who value productivity and want to use the screen surface efficiently for work. Each Huawei MateBook 16 is factory calibrated to achieve a professional average color accuracy of ΔE = 1. This ensures that every notebook offers a real-life experience, displaying 1.07 billion colors in 100 percent of the sRGB color gamut. It is not without reason that this notebook is the first of its kind with TÜV Rheinland certification for Color Accuracy and Quick Stability, which indicates that the display has the ability to display true-to-life colours. User comfort is also assured, as the display produces little blue light and does not flicker, making evening work less straining on the eyes.

Collaborate through smart connectivity
The Huawei MateBook 16 supports PC-Smartphone Multi-screen Collaboration, allowing users to project their smartphone’s screen onto the PC display with one tap and control two devices on one screen at the same time. In addition, the notebook can work seamlessly with Huawei tablets, monitors and audio products to accommodate the creative needs of users, whether they work alone or with others.
For example, with Multi-screen Collaboration (2), a Huawei MatePad Pro can act as a drawing pad for users’ spontaneous ideas, or it can be used as a second screen to create even more windows for effective multi-tasking. The Collaborate Mode adds synergy to this to take their productivity to the next level.
The Huawei MateBook 16 can also be connected to the Huawei MateView wirelessly or via a cable. Together, the notebook and standalone monitor provide a much larger viewing area for getting work done – from inspecting details in illustrations to making color adjustments in landscape photos.

Innovative Features
The Huawei MateBook 16 also has many features for better productivity. First up is the Fingerprint Power Button, a two-in-one fingerprint scanner and power button that verifies the user’s identity and turns on the notebook at the same time. Second, a full-sized backlit keyboard with ergonomic design that provides a pleasant typing experience, and third, a dual-speaker sound system on the front, featuring a 3168-hole speaker grille for stunning sound. And finally, two microphones on the side with support for AI noise reduction and the ability to pick up sounds from up to five meters away to allow good voice intelligibility during calls and video conferences.
