With the Too Good To Go app you can contribute to reducing food waste.

Food waste is an increasing problem. It is estimated that one third of all food produced is currently wasted. With the app Too Good To Go you can contribute to reducing this.
After registration, the app shows an overview of shops in the area that offer food products at a reduced rate, for example because the expiry date is approaching. You can then pick up the food at a time slot from the supplier. You can see an overview of providers in the area via the map of the Netherlands. The indicator shows how many products are left per provider.
In terms of appearance, the app is very reminiscent of services such as Uber Eats and Thuisbezorgd. The number of providers is diverse: in Amsterdam we see both supermarkets and restaurants in the list. Speaking of the list: providers that appeal to you can be added to a favorites list.
The content of the meal is not known: the makers themselves call this a Magic Box. This has of course to do with the fact that these are products that change daily. The app is international and can also be used in Belgium, Germany and England, among others.
