Samsung will announce its Galaxy XCover 6 Pro next month along with a rugged tablet: the Galaxy Tab Active 4 Pro. We already see an image that corresponds to previously leaked renders of the XCover 6 Pro.
Samsung Galaxy XCover 6 Pro and Tab Active 4 Pro
More is known about two upcoming rugged devices from Samsung. Earlier we were shown renders of the Galaxy XCover 6 Pro, but now Samsung has also shared an image with partners inviting them to a launch event on July 13. Sammobile†
Thanks to that image, we also discover that the rugged smartphone does not only appear, because Samsung also has the Tab Active 4 Pro in store for us. Almost nothing is known about the tablet, only the image reveals that it is clearly also a rugged device with sturdy screen edges and an equally robust stylus. The device will primarily be used in the workplace by professionals. What is already known is that the Tab Active 4 Pro does not come with a removable battery like its predecessor, the Galaxy Tab Active 3.
The launch invite along with previously leaked renders
More information has already come out about the Samsung Galaxy XCover 6 Pro. It gets a much larger 6.6-inch LCD screen, compared to the 5.3-inch panel of the XCover 5. Samsung also opts for a more powerful chipset: the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G with 5G modem, which we already know well from including the Galaxy A52s. And with a bigger phone comes a bigger battery: this time a 4,050 mAh one.
Finally, the camera consists of an extra lens, because Samsung combines a 50 MP main sensor with a wide-angle camera. The housing is of course water and dust resistant and has an IP68 certification. What do you think about these two rugged devices? Let us know in the comments.
