Xiaomi is making good progress with beautiful new products. Soon the new Xiaomi laptop Book S 12.4inch, the Xiaomi electric scooter 4 Pro, Smart Band 7 and the Xiaomi TV A2 series will be available.
The Chinese Xiaomi has announced a number of new products that make everyday life smarter. Xiaomi calls these AIoT products, which stands for artificial intelligence of things. The tech giant is launching the Xiaomi Book S 12.4″, the Xiaomi Smart Band 7, the Xiaomi Electric Scooter 4 Pro and the Xiaomi TV A2 series.
Xiaomi Book S 12.4”
Xiaomi’s first-ever 2-in-1 laptop is designed to enhance the mobile work experience. The Xiaomi Book S 12.4” has a versatile 12.4 inch touchscreen with 500 nits maximum brightness and an LCD panel with 2,560 x 1,600 resolution. The Xiaomi Book S 12.4 inch also offers a 100% sRGB color gamut screen, which should make the user’s viewing experience better.
Due to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8cx Gen 2 compute platform, the laptop delivers good CPU performance. There are also dual microphones, stereo 2W speakers, a 5MP selfie camera and a 13MP rear camera. The laptop is supported by Windows 11 and the Xiaomi Book S 12.4-inch delivers a comprehensive productivity experience. Its slim and compact design makes it a feature-rich portable workstation. Users’ thoughts and ideas come to life even more thanks to the support of Xiaomi Smart Pen and Keyboard.¹
Xiaomi Smart Band 7
The Xiaomi Smart Band 7 is designed for fitness enthusiasts. Thanks to a high-resolution 1.62-inch full AMOLED screen and a wider screen design, the model has 25% more visibility compared to the previous generation². This provides improved clarity and efficiency. With more than 110 sport modes, users can set personal fitness goals that fit their lifestyle. Additional training load, recovery time and training effect modes allow users to evaluate and adjust their workouts to get the most out of their training.
The smartwatch features a new, professional VO₂ max exercise analysis, which measures how much oxygen you can use during your workout. The Xiaomi Smart Band 7 also offers sleep tracking and SpO₂ and heart rate measurement³. The watch comes with more than 100 dials and various, colorful straps. Thanks to the 5ATM water resistance⁵, the Xiaomi Smart Band 7 is prepared for all types of weather. With a battery life of no less than 14 days in standby mode, you will never be let down again.
Xiaomi Electric Scooter 4 Pro
With a 700W motor, the Xiaomi Electric Scooter 4 Pro is the most powerful Xiaomi scooter to date. The scooter (Xiaomi calls it a scooter…) reaches a speed of 25 km/h, has a capacity of 12,400 mAh and is able to cover distances of up to 45 km. Also, slopes of up to 20% are climbed with ease. The housing of the Xiaomi Electric Scooter 4 Pro is made of aviation-grade aluminum: lightweight, strong and resistant to corrosion. The scooter is equipped with 10 inch tubeless self-sealing tires, which are designed to make the tires puncture-free thanks to Xiaomi DuraGel and to drive on rough roads for a long time. The larger size supports more weight and improves standing comfort. In addition, the newly added magnetic charging port and cover ensure that the charger is safe when plugged in.
The scooter is designed for a safe driving experience. This gives users access to both speed and safety with eABS at the front and dual-pad disc brake system at the rear. The improved user interface on the dashboard provides a distraction-free experience.
Incidentally, it is not yet allowed to go on the road with this scooter in the Netherlands. This is allowed in Belgium and Luxembourg.
Xiaomi TV A2 Series
The Xiaomi TV A2 has a slim unibody metal frame, supported by a single stand. The 4K Ultra HD display with Dolby Vision should provide a beautiful viewing experience and the ultra-wide 178° field of view allows users to watch comfortably from any angle. Of course, the audio experience is also optimal due to the built-in Dolby Audio. In addition, the TV has a built-in Google Assistant⁹ for quick control of connected AIoT devices via the 360° Bluetooth remote control. There is also Android TV (10) available. That means the Xiaomi TV A2 offers access to movies and shows through users’ favorite apps, including Netflix, Prime Video and YouTube, which, along with thousands of other apps, can be downloaded from Google Play. The device also features Chromecast, a built-in tool to stream directly from phones, tablets or laptops.
Prices and availability
The Xiaomi Book S 12.4” will be available from June 30 for €699, the Xiaomi Smart Band 7 will be available from June 22 for €59.99 and the Xiaomi Electric Scooter 4 Pro will be available from the end of August. The Xiaomi TV A2 is available in 32inch and 43inch for €249.99 and €449.99 respectively, it is unknown when these will be available. All devices will be available through Xiaomi’s official channels.
