What was the universe like before the Big Bang? And was the sun already there?

Was there anything before the Big Bang? I learned in history that the planets came into being from the Big Bang. But was that just the planets? Was the sun already there?

Answer

Because everything came into being with the big bang, there was nothing before that, no space and no time. But that is very difficult to explain or understand.
As for the planets and the sun, you probably misunderstood something. The sun and the planets formed only 4.5 billion years ago.
The Big Bang was much earlier, namely 13.7 billion years ago, so there were no stars (suns) or planets yet.
