Is it possible to make a car exhaust from carbon fiber?
I can’t find anywhere clear what the melting point of carbon fiber is.

Answer
Simply no. The temperature of an exhaust is so high that this is impossible. On the engine we measure up to 1100°C with petrol and up to 900°C with diesel. At the end we still have temperatures of 400 to 850°C.
These are much too high for carbon, so that an exhaust in carbon is technically not possible.
