Hello
I’ve found a few spiders that don’t exactly resemble a classic spider. The spiders sat on succulents and are about 1 cm in size. The weird thing about this species is that the front legs are very long compared to the rest of the body.
Do you know what kind this is?
Thank you in advance for your time

Answer
Hi Frederick,
This spider cannot be identified with certainty from a photo, but it is most likely the “greenhouse teasel” (Uloborus plumipes). As its name suggests, this spider is a regular guest in heated greenhouses. If you want to be sure, it should be determined by a specialist from the specimen.
Kind regards,
Rudy
