Turn your iPhone into a masterpiece with your own app icons

Tired of those boring app icons on your iPhone? Apple has come up with a secret solution for that, so you can turn your iPhone into a real masterpiece.

For this you need an iPhone with the Assignmentsapp from Apple itself. This is installed by default on iPhones (from iOS 12). If you ever deleted it, you can get the app back from the App Store.

iPhone: create your own app icons

To customize your iPhone’s app icons, open the Assignmentsapp and use the plus icon to create a new assignment. Bee Add task search for ‘open app’ in the search bar. This one is under the category scripting. Press Open app and then the less visible text ‘app’. Here you choose an app of your choice, such as Netflix.

Now press the i-icon at the bottom and choose Put on home screen. Press the symbol and choose a file or photo to use here. You will see a preview of the result. Satisfied? Give the icon the name of the app, so you know which one it is. Then press add and the app will appear on the home screen. Clicking on it will automatically open the app.
