Sensible static electricity has a voltage typically somewhere around 1000 volts or more.
It is a high voltage that discharges in a very short (less than a microsecond) current pulse.
If the current is permanent, for example because it comes from a battery, such as with electric fences, then the voltage may be much lower. you will feel the shock or tingling from a few tens of volts.
