Chrysomela vigintipunctata (family Chrysomelidae, leaf beetles)
Asker: Danny, 57 years old
Answer
Dear Danny,
the chemical control of the twenty-spot willow beetle (and its larvae) can be easily done, just like that of other leaf beetles (family Chrysomelidae), with a number of insecticides against chewing insects, such as Karate Garden (active ingredient is lambda-cyhalothrin). Is a product that you can purchase in the larger garden stores and do it yourself business for private use.
kind regards,
Hans
