Subject to security and privacy exceptions, I believe everything may be photographed for personal use.
However, if you ‘re-use’ it (counterfeit, sell, broadcast) you could run into problems with the copyright of the creator of the object you photographed.

A well-known example is the Atomium. Rights are systematically requested and collected for this.
