I have always grown up without a father, but now I would like to know who he is, my mother is not sure herself.
I have found a possible father and he has blood type B+, my mother has A+, can I be A-?
Answer
Dear Sophie,
If you are A- and your mother A+ then your father can have any combination so A, B, AB or O and Rh + or -. You can recalculate everything yourself on:

Judging by the blood type alone, there is absolutely no proof of who your father is, it is best to have a DNA test done for this. Your doctor may be able to help you with this.
Good luck!
