I wonder if a black hole moves? According to Einstein, you can’t tell (not absolute speed or anything), but I was wondering, is the position of a black hole affected by the nearby objects like other planets or something? Does a black hole follow a geodesic?

Answer
A black hole has a certain mass and therefore moves in the general gravitational field in which it is located, and to which it contributes itself.
Black holes can occur in massive narrow binary stars. You then have a system consisting of a black hole and a second star. They will then revolve around their common center of gravity.
