I was on a blog where there was a story that someone did it to their dog and I thought it was really weird, but now I also wonder if you can get pregnant from a dog too. One said no and the other said it is possible and that you will get a cross like in this picture, but like a dog. And is that picture real? Because it seems real and there are often such strange children in the world, how is that possible?

Dear Charity,
It is impossible for a human to become pregnant from a dog and vice versa. The genetic material does not allow that. The photo looks fake, but it could also be an animal I don’t know.
In principle, you can only get pregnant within your species. What is possible is that a horse becomes pregnant from a donkey and vice versa. You then get a mule or a mule, both of which are barren.

The step towards the dog is of course too far fetched.
