Do you hear an alarm going off somewhere in your house? You don’t have to storm to the other side of your house to turn off the alarm, but you can simply turn on Siri, for example on your iPhone.
You will have it: you set an alarm to remind you of something, such as a meeting or as a notification when the oven is ready, but just at that moment you are in another room. Fortunately, you can enable Siri on an iPhone, iPad, or HomePod, so you don’t have to drop everything you’re doing right away.
iPhone, iPad, and HomePod: Turn off alarms
All you have to say to Siri is: Hey Siri, turn off the iPhone’s alarm. Of course, you can also call an iPad or HomePod instead. Unfortunately, it is important that you report on which device the alarm clock should be switched off. Otherwise, Siri will say that there is no alarm set on the device you are talking to.
It is important to know that this function only works on devices with iOS 16 or iPad OS 16. It does not work on an iPhone or iPad with an older version.

This is how you enable Siri
Of course you must have Siri enabled to use this handy alarm clock killer. Grab your iPhone or iPad and go to Settings. Then press Siri and search. You now have two options. You can Listen to “Hey Siri” turn on and activate the smart assistant in this way.
The other option is to Press the side button for Siri to enable. Then all you have to do is press and hold the power button on your iPhone or iPad to bring up Siri. If you like, you can of course also activate both options. If you don’t have the opportunity to talk, you can still use the smart assistant, but you can also get Siri when you don’t have your hands free.
