When I cycled home with 3 friends of mine we had to go through a small bush. When we were resting for a while, we heard a few twigs break. When we looked, a kind of deer walked by very quickly. I myself had not seen it very well, but the others think it is a deer. The forest is not very large and is located in a quiet area with many meadows (border of Flemish Brabant and East Flanders). It is also about 3 km further from the kravaal forest. What deer could this be? Was it a deer? Could it be that it ‘got lost’ from kravaal forest?
Answer
Dear Jarne,
There are no deer other than roe deer in that region. You rarely see them because they are mainly active at night. So it is almost certain that you have indeed seen a deer.
Kind regards,
Rudy
