Do you regularly find out that you have missed a notification? Whether you have turned off the notifications on your Apple Watch or simply want to feel a different vibration with notifications, in this article we explain how you can ensure that you never miss a notification again.
Apple does not say that you can make the vibrations louder or softer, but it is possible to change the type of vibration, although you only have the choice of two types of settings on your Apple Watch. How you do that, OMT editor Sabine tells you below.
Apple Watch: Never miss a notification again
Grab your Apple Watch and open the Settings. Then go to Hear and feel. Now scroll or swipe down and make sure Tactile notifications under the cup To feel is enabled. You can instead Standard also for Prominent select. This makes the notifications easier to notice.
If you for Prominent selected, you will receive a longer vibration followed by two short vibrations. Bee Standard it is only about the two short vibrations. It’s best to try out the two different settings on your Apple Watch to find out what works best for you.

Wear tighter or take it off completely
If you still have trouble noticing notifications after setting up the above functions? You may be wearing your Apple Watch too loosely. It is worth checking whether you need to tighten your strap. Of course, it is not the intention that the smartwatch becomes uncomfortable. You can also see whether you should wear the Apple Watch slightly lower or higher on your wrist.
It is also possible that you do not want to feel any vibration notifications on your Apple Watch at all. In that case, you can simply turn off the function. The vibrations of the Digital Crown can also be disabled. Normally you will feel a slight vibration when you touch the Digital Crown scrolling through your smartwatch. Under the setting Hear and feel you will also find a slider around the Tactile signals through Crown to turn off.
