If this is for a thesis in secondary education, please contact your supervising teacher in the first place. You can indeed buy some substances, such as HCl. You can buy it at any DIY store. You still have to dilute it to 2 M. However, this HCl will not be extremely pure.
Other substances such as polyvinyl alcohol can be purchased from a specialized chemical retailer, such as www.Acros.com or www. sigmaaldrich.com. However, they do not deliver to ordinary people. The order must therefore go through the school.
