Answer
Dear Amber,
The Dutch register of species (http://www.nederlandserassen.nl/) mentions 2287 plant species (vascular plants), of which 1580 are ‘established’ plant species. The exotics that were observed in the Netherlands have been added to the first number. The second number is the native and established species. For comparison, in Flanders there are 1417. Logical, given that our territory is smaller and has fewer specific habitats than the whole of the Netherlands.
Sincerely
Koen
