Weekend Poll: is that iPhone 15 concept really that beautiful?

We really have to wait a while, but the iPhone 15 keeps coming back. For example, a real concept of the design of the phone appeared last week. Let’s leave out how realistic it is, but not what we think of the design.

In his article, which he wrote yesterday, Dennis was extremely positive about the work of designer Antonio DeRosa. On the other hand, this iPhone 15 gives me goosebumps. A good time to also get the opinion of our loyal readers.

Is that iPhone 15 concept really that beautiful?

Honesty compels me to say that I am a fan of Antonio DeRosa. The designer has impressed me a lot in recent years with beautiful concepts of Apple products. His most recent work, a look at the iPhone 15 with a periscope camera, has caused less enthusiasm.

In the concept we saw this week, DeRosa works with a folding periscope camera that was talked about earlier. Where this addition might be nice (I won’t be using it) the design is an eyesore. Why? Because the camera system is, to put it mildly, not really improving.

Strangely enough, colleague Dennis Mons disagrees with me. He wrote in his article: “DeRosa knows how to hype us up with the look of the iPhone 15 Pro Max”. Well Dennis. That’s better than expected!

At least, I think so. There is no arguing about taste and that is why I am very curious how the opinions are divided. Something I love to do in the Weekend poll of this week:

Be sure to let us know in a comment why you (don’t) like this iPhone 15.

What do our readers think of the new HomePod?

Last week, Apple announced its new HomePod. The audience was divided online. One thought it was a worthless update, while the other really enjoyed it. Nice moment to Weekend poll back to life and ask our readers what they thought of it.

In the end, 452 people answered the question Is Apple doing good business with its new HomePod? have answered. Of these, 229 people (50.66 percent) thought it was time for an upgrade.

The other voters were clear in their opinion. Although in some cases the reason behind it was something else. For example, there were 109 people (24.12 percent) who said “No, the price is too high” and 73 people (16.15 percent) who thought the upgrade was too small. Only 41 people (9.07 percent) have indicated that they want to look elsewhere.

Goderikus even said: “If I want fewer tweeters in my HomePod 1, I will remove them myself”.
