Contacts displays the contacts on your phone and the contacts stored in your Google account. The latter group is ‘in the cloud’. This means that the data is stored somewhere on a Google server, and that you can access it anywhere. Via your phone, your PC and your tablet, anywhere in the world. Contacts stored in your Google account are synced with Google Contacts and all your Android devices.
