Add pages to the control panel and use on iPhone or iPad

The control panel is a handy option where you have access to various controllers and shortcuts to apps. From the panel you can easily change settings and more. Since iOS 18 and iPados 18, the interface has been adjusted and you can now use pages.

By swiping up or down in the control panel you can consult the pages. For example, you will find a page as standard to operate your music, speakers and TVs, a view for home accessories and an overview of all network connections. Of course you can also make your own pages.

Use control panel pages

Do you want to get everything out of the control panel? Then you can use handy pages. On this you can easily place all kinds of shortcuts that are related to a certain category. By default you can use the music, home and network page, but you can also put together your own overview page with controllers so that you can operate them directly.

  • Music: On the music page you can easily operate music that you are playing at that time. This can be on your iPhone or iPad, but also on other speakers and TVs in your home (HomeKit or AirPlay).
  • Home: Direct access to a large ‘widget’ with suggestions for home accessories and scenes.
  • Network connections: Switch on all kinds of network settings, including VPN
  • Page: Create more pages with regulators exactly the way you want it

Personalizing and adjusting the pages in the control panel is possible from the center itself.

  • Open the control panel

  • Go to a desired new page or edit an existing one
  • Tap ‘Add a controller’ to add new parts
  • Drag the new or existing parts to another place

During editing you will find an arc with every regulator in the corner. You can use this to change the format of the controller. This way you can display a shortcut extra large, elongated or already small circle.

You can create multiple pages and it is up to the user to determine which parts and controllers can be seen on these pages. For example, create a page with your favorite Siri assignments, shortcuts to settings, etc.
