The controllers in the iPhone and iPad control panel offer quick access to commonly used functions and settings, without having to navigate through different apps. With these handy buttons you can, for example, immediately adjust the screen brightness, switch WiFi on or off, activate the flashlight or quickly take a photo, so that you can operate your device more efficiently.
Since iOS 18 and iPados 18 you can adjust the format of the regulators. This offers the possibility to display the most used functions more prominently and to operate more easily. By increasing controllers, you can not only see them better, but also achieve them faster and more accurately.
Adjust control panel
Personalizing and adjusting the control panel very simple and can be done immediately from the panel itself. You also get to see all the controllers and possibilities, so that you immediately have an impression of how the panel ultimately takes shape.
- Open the control panel
- Tap on the top left of the plus button or put your finger on an empty room
- Drag the parts to another place
Adjust format regulators
During editing you will find an arc at some regulators in the corner. You can use this to change the format of the controller. This way you can display a shortcut extra large, elongated or already small circle. Does the controller not show a bow? Then the format cannot be changed.
- Drag the bow to the right to enlarge a controller
- Drag the bow to the left to reduce a controller
- By dragging the bow down or up you can adjust the size
Some regulators can fill the full page, this is possible with the shortcut for music and home. This way you can organize a full page with your self -chosen screen -filling controller.
You can add new controllers while editing the control panel. Tap ‘Add a controller’. An overview with parts is opened and then choose a desired controller. When the controller shows a bow, the size can be adjusted.
