John Vanderaart answers a question every day on pcactive.nl. Today he answers an error message from Adobe Reader, yesterday John answered how to remove Delta Search.

I regularly receive e-mail messages, also with attachments in PDF format. If I print those e-mails directly, then there is no problem. To save ink, I collect a number of e-mail messages that can then be printed in one go. I put those e-mails together in a folder with print jobs. But when I try to print from that folder with print jobs, Adobe Reader gives an error. What is happening here?

Take a good look at what’s in that folder with print jobs and that’s about the file types, of course. A pdf file is neither a txt file nor an eml file. Different file types just need different apps to open. Also, not all file types can be accessed via the Copy to directed to the printer in the Windows Explorer context menu. Try something different… Make sure you have subfolders in that folder with print jobs in which you put the different file types and then start printing per file type. This of course means that you have to save the attachments of the e-mail messages in the correct subfolder(s) beforehand.
