Agenda now shows reminders and uses new view

Available from iOS 18, iPadOS 18 and macOS Sequoia

Starting with iOS 18, iPadOS 18, and macOS Sequoia, Apple has finally combined the Calendar and Reminders apps. From now on, you can also view your (completed) reminders from the Calendar app.

In addition, you can use the new monthly view with a compact or stacked view of your appointments, but also with more details or as a list. This way you can quickly see which activities will take place soon.

With the introduction of reminders in Calendar, Apple has changed the month view for iPhone. It now shows a list of all the items for the selected day. You can also open other views.

If you choose ‘Compact‘ you will see a monthly overview and the activity will be shown with dots and lines under the date. If you choose ‘Stacked‘ will display the appointments and reminders by date with multiple colored stripes, the more stripes, the more activities. Choose ‘Details‘ if you also want to see at a glance which activities are planned. List gives the most complete representation.

Are you using compact, stacked or details? Then you can open a day view by tapping on a day. If necessary, you can split this overview into a view with one day, multiple days or as a list.
