Series based on the popular game series of the same name, set in a post-apocalyptic world that illustrates the United States of the late 1940s, after a nuclear war in 2077. This world is packed with robbers, mutants and Vaults, from which they regularly survivors from before the war come to colonize the new world. This harshness of the deserted land contrasts itself with the utopian image of the 1940s, where the previous generation idealistically looked at a possible better world where nuclear energy would be fully used for good.

But behind the cheerful screen presence in these shows, with questionable jokes and over-the-top skits, “Quiet on Set” reveals a treacherous environment rife with accusations of abuse, sexism, racism and inappropriate dynamics with its underage stars and crew members. This docuseries exposes the toxic culture behind some of the most iconic children’s shows of the late 1990s and early 2000s.

England, 1705: Nell Jackson returns from the war to her family in Tottenham. Aided by brave sprite Billy Blind who grants her superhuman fighting skills, Nell takes on bully Thomas Blancheford, son of the local landlord, but is falsely accused of murder. Nell has to flee with her sisters, Roxy and George, and she becomes a highwayman. When her special fighting skills become known, Nell attracts the attention of the sinister Earl of Poynton, who is hatching a magical plot against the Queen of England. While on a collision course with the Earl of Poynton, Nell and Billy realize that there is much more to her quest for justice than they thought and that they must first defeat Poynton and save the country before they can clear her name.
