Apple event coming ‘Scary Fast’: this is when

That’s scary! Apple just announced a new Apple event called ‘Scary Fast’. This is when you need to be ready!

Apple event ‘Scary Fast’

Apple announced a new event today. This is the second Apple event that will take place in the fall of 2023. You have to stay awake for a while. The event will be held on October 30 at 5:00 PM Pacific Time. This is converted (when we take winter time into account) at 1 am here.

According to rumors, this Apple event ‘Scary Fast’ will be entirely dedicated to the Mac. Apple’s event website shows an Apple logo with a black background. This logo turns into a Mac Finder logo, so the rumors appear to be true. This event is pre-recorded and will therefore consist of a video. The event will also only take place online.

It is not yet entirely certain what exactly Apple will show during this event. Rumors tell us that a new version of the iMac (24 inches) is coming. It is one of the last Macs to have an M1 chip.

Usually reliable Apple expert Mark Gurman says that we should not expect a new MacBook Air. But according to him, there will probably be a new MacBook Pro (13 inches, 14 inches and 16 inches). These MacBooks will then receive a new (and faster) chip.

The update for MacBook Pros is a big surprise, because new MacBook Pros were already released earlier this year. Gurman says it’s not often that we get a second update to an Apple product in one year, but it is possible.

Other than that, not many changes are expected. The Mac event ‘Scary Fast’ will be shown on the Apple website, YouTube and Apple TV. So make sure you’re ready!
