The possibilities of Apple Intelligence are great, but for now only available to users in the United States. Apple Intelligence will first be available in English (US) and later this year in other English-language variants.
In addition, Apple has announced that Apple Intelligence will also be available in languages other than English next year. Unfortunately, there is bad news to report, Dutch is not yet included. It is also not yet possible to test Apple Intelligence in the EU. We will list all the information for you.

Not in the EU for the time being
Unfortunately, there is bad news for users living in the European Union. Not only is Apple Intelligence only available in English at launch, but due to the Digital Markets Act, Apple has decided to block Apple Intelligence in the EU.
Users can change the language of their device to use AI, but due to European legislation, Apple has blocked this for the EU. This means that you cannot use AI in the Netherlands and Belgium for the time being. Apple first wants to make sure that their artificial intelligence system complies with the DMA law.

With Apple Intelligence expected in German, French and Italian in 2025, there’s a good chance we’ll be able to use Apple’s AI tools in the EU next year, possibly in English or another supporting language.
