That’s why Apple allows you to choose from several iCloud subscriptions, depending on how much storage space you think you need. These are the new subscriptions

If you have a subscription to iCloud, you can digitally store important data such as your photos, backups of your Apple devices and files. These are often large files, making 5 GB of storage space quickly insufficient. You therefore already had the option to expand the storage space to 50 GB, 200 GB and 2 TB for a certain amount. However, that is still not enough for some users.

That is why Apple has added two more options, you can also expand to 6 TB and even 12 TB. This is especially useful for professional users of iCloud, as large video and media files can now be stored more easily. You pay a considerable monthly amount for the new subscriptions, these are all the options for purchasing more storage:

  • 50GB of iCloud storage: 0.99 euros per month
  • 200GB of iCloud storage: 2.99 euros per month
  • 2TB of iCloud storage: 9.99 euros per month
  • 6TB of iCloud storage: 29.99 euros per month
  • 12TB of iCloud storage: 59.99 euros per month

Share iCloud subscription with family members

If you buy a new iPhone, it is often cheaper to expand the storage space with an iCloud subscription. Apple quickly charges hundreds of euros more for an iPhone with 256 GB or 512 GB, while with iCloud you only pay a few euros per month. In addition, you can share the iCloud subscription with family members, so you have more storage space together and can divide the monthly amount.
