Apple releases iWork 14.0 update for Pages, Numbers and Keynote

Apple has released an update for the free applications Pages, Numbers and Keynote for iPhone, iPad and Mac. Many new features have not been added, but you now get better in-app notifications when a person collaborates on a document for the first time and Apple has improved support for HEIC images.

In addition, the stability and performance of the apps have been improved and a number of bugs and problems have undoubtedly been resolved.

iWork 14.0 update

With version number 14 you would think that the update would be major, but unfortunately that is disappointing. The update has been limited to a number of minor innovations. The stability of the apps in particular has been improved and no major new features have been added this time.

A useful new addition is that file structure and full quality are preserved when adding HEIC photos taken on an iPhone or iPad. In addition, in-app notifications inform you when someone joins a collaborative document for the first time.
