The new Apple TV 4K 2021 has been announced during the big Apple event. Apple’s latest media player has more powerful hardware and better image quality. The remote control has also been renewed.
Apple TV 4K 2021 officially unveiled
Before the Apple event, we weren’t sure if the new Apple TV would be unveiled, but now the device is eh. The Apple TV 2021 succeeds the Media Box from 2017 and features faster hardware and other useful improvements. The device is controlled by the A12 Bionic chip.
The powerful processor is important, because it allows the Apple TV to better handle games on Apple Arcade. Movies also look a lot better thanks to the improved color balance.
The Apple TV 2021 also takes into account the content that you are currently playing. He automatically adjusts the settings based on what you are watching.
New remote control
Apple has also given the Siri remote a fresh look. The new control button is reminiscent of the iPad and is touch-sensitive, making it much easier to fast forward and rewind while watching a movie.
The button to open Siri is now on the side of the remote, so that your voice assistant does not open accidentally. The design has not been altered. The box still looks the same.
The Apple TV 4K (2021) comes in two storage capacities: 32GB and 64GB. The new Apple TV starts at 199 euros. For the 64GB version you have lost 219 euros.
