Apple has updated the iCloud website. Under iOS 18, iPadOS 18 and macOS Sequoia, the tech company has added several new capabilities to their apps. Thanks to the update for iCloud, you can now also use it online. Additional options have also been added.
For example, the iCloud website now includes a dark display so that it is automatically activated when a device uses dark mode. You can also personalize the background of the website.

Dark Mode for iCloud
Are you visiting the iCloud website from a device with dark mode active? Then from now on you will see the website for iCloud in a dark view.

New view for Calendar
Under iOS 18, iPadOS 18 and macOS Sequoia, Apple has updated the Calendar app and provided it with a new view, including support for reminders. In addition, the iCloud Calendar app now also supports the Islamic calendar.
Change background color
If desired, you can change the iCloud blue background to a different background color. You can choose from different colors. To choose a new background, scroll down the homepage, then click Customize. Then you can change the background color at the top of the page.

iCloud Photos expanded
Just like on the iPhone and iPad with iOS 18 and iPadOS 18, Apple has adjusted and expanded iCloud Photos on their iCloud website. The changes are not as drastic as on the iPhone or iPad, but they are useful.
- Improved navigation: Quickly jump to a month or year in your library by clicking the calendar icon.
- Change details: Change the date, time and location of your photos from the information screen.
- Additional tile options: You can now display an album in the Photos tile on the home page.

Reminder lists
Create new reminder lists to keep your tasks organized and complete recurring reminders.
Pin and pin notes
Pin important notes to the top of your list for easy access. Control+click on a Mac or right-click to edit your pinned notes. You can also view pinned notes or pin new notes directly to the Notes tile on the homepage. Of course, the adjustments are synchronized with your iPhone, iPad and Mac.
